Product Care Instructions

We want your Project Fire Buddies gear to look great for as long as possible! Proper care helps protect the colors, prints, embroidery, and finishes on your favorite items.

T-Shirts, Sweatshirts & Hoodies

To help preserve your screen-printed designs:

  • Turn garments inside out before washing
  • Machine wash cold with like colors
  • Use a mild detergent
  • Wash on a normal or gentle cycle
  • Do not use bleach
  • Avoid fabric softeners when possible
  • Tumble dry low or hang dry for best results
  • Do not iron directly over printed designs
  • Do not dry clean

For the longest life: Wash cold, inside out, and hang dry.

Embroidered Apparel

  • Machine wash cold with like colors
  • Turn garment inside out before washing when possible
  • Use a mild detergent
  • Do not bleach
  • Tumble dry low or hang dry
  • Do not iron directly over embroidery
  • Avoid pulling or cutting loose embroidery threads

Hats & Beanies

To help your hat keep its shape and protect embroidery, patches, and leatherette details:

  • Hand wash or spot clean only
  • Use cold water and a mild detergent
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not place in the washing machine or dryer
  • Reshape while damp and allow to air dry completely
  • Do not iron embroidered, patched, or decorated areas

Tumblers & Drinkware

To protect the finish, engraving, logos, and decorative elements:

  • Hand wash recommended
  • Wash with mild dish soap and a soft sponge
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrubbers
  • Do not soak for extended periods
  • Allow to dry completely before storing
  • Avoid extreme heat unless the product specifically states that it is dishwasher safe

For best results, hand washing is always recommended for decorated drinkware.
